And Apple will still tell you:

“That'll be $99 a year.”

Not to publish an iPhone app.

Not to distribute software through the App Store.

Just to use Apple's identity infrastructure for users who visit your website.

Meanwhile, you're giving Apple something pretty valuable:

Free exposure.

Every time someone sees that Apple login button, Apple's ecosystem is right there in your product.

But apparently the future they imagined came with a toll booth.

At LANZAR, we believe technology should make it easier to build things, not create unnecessary gates around them.

We understand that infrastructure costs money.

We understand security costs money.

We understand developers need to pay for serious services.

But sometimes a developer isn't asking for another service.

They're asking for permission to build.

And that's where the industry gets interesting.

Because the best platforms aren't the ones that ask:

“How much can we charge you?”

They're the ones that ask:

“What can you build with this?”

So for now, Stir My Coffee will happily take Google.

Apple can keep the $99 login button.
